An SGI Indycam

The IndyCam was a small fixed-focus camera intended to sit on top of the monitor of Silicon Graphics systems. SGI originally distributed it with the SGI Indy workstation. It can also connect to the SGI Indigo2 video option.

It was designed for videoconferencing, and thus optimized for the office landscape of bright, fluorescent lighting.

The IndyCam was superseded by the MooseCam.
