New Digital Sounds and Comic Caddie

Links 386 CD has an entirely new sound system to bring the presence and clarity of digital sound to your PC sound system. We offer a wider variety of sound card support including Pro Audio Spectrum, Ensoniq Soundscape, Gravis Ultrasound and more. The comments are clear, the music crisp and the experience complete. With the new sound system we thought you might enjoy some comic relief. We've called upon the immense talents of Bobcat Goldthwait, nationally-recognized comedian, to be your personal caddie. There are two Bobcat sound files to choose from, depending on the level of needling you can stand! New additional game sound files are also available.

Simulated Aerial Fly-by's

The most exciting new feature of Links 386 CD is the simulated aerial fly-by's. Taking up over 200 megabytes of CD-ROM disk space for each championship course, they will give you an entirely new perspective of each hole and the golfing challenges you face. Starting at the tee box, you cruise 50 feet above the fairway checking out bunkers and hazards from the "helicopter view" and then finish with a gentle turn around the green. Golf tips on how to play the hole and digital background music compliment the experience.
