Microsoft Windows NT 4.0

Windows NT 4.0 replaces Windows NT 3.51 in the business-oriented "NT" line of operating systems from Microsoft. Different types of features and advancements would be split up into "workstation" and "server" editions, though visually they were similar as the Windows 95 style GUI was used in both editions.
NT 4.0 also provided support for numerous platforms outside of the x86 realm such as the DEC Alpha and PowerPC based systems (excluding those made by Apple Computer).
