Founded in 1987, MindVision Software is a leader in Macintosh developer tools and application software. The company produces Installer VISE and Updater VISE, the best-selling Macintosh installer and updater packages. MindVision also developed "Stacker for Macintosh" and co-authored the Connectix bestseller "Speed Doubler." MindVision is a privately held corporation headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska.
In 1995 MindVision decided to enter the Windows installer market. With nearly two years of engineering, customer testing, and feedback, Installer VISE for Windows emerged as the only true visual installation authoring tools for Windows developers and network administrators. The WYSIWYG interface allows users to simply point and click on conditional installation options to quickly build a professional installer for Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows NT.
