Moody Junior Secondary School

Moody Junior Secondary School (or Moody Jr) was built in 1970 to replace the previous Moody High School which burned down in 1969. The new school was converted from a high school to a junior high school in 1973. The school became Moody Middle School in 1997 and was eventually torn down in 2018 as a replacement facility had been built. Located in Port Moody, British Columbia.

Building Map
This is a general layout of the building purposes in around 1996-1997 prior to the change to Moody Middle School. May not be fully accurate as information not readily available.
- Main school building. Ground floor included school administration, general classrooms, at least two computer labs. Upper level contained the school library and science classrooms.
- Gym building. Contained the gymnasium, locker rooms, school cafeteria.
- Contained the band classrooms and assumed to also hold the shop classes and other art classes.
- Small building which held an estimated 4-6 classrooms and some student lockers. Language classes were found in this building.
- Portable classrooms. At least one math class found here.
