Dynamix was founded in 1984 and acquired by Sierra in 1990. The studio continued to produce games under the Dynamix name until it was shutdown in 2001 by Sierra.

Known for pushing the edge of technology, the developers at Sierra's Dynamix studio create most of Sierra's simulations and sports titles. Based in Eugene, Oregon, Dynamix developers are busy with the flight physics of the much-anticipated Red Baron II and Pro Pilot, as well as the detailed 3D vehicles of EarthSiege 3, plus upcoming sequels to Trophy Bass and other Front Page Sports titles, including one on skiing.
