This page will document the various Hotline clones based on the original protocol. This page is not meant for information on other protocols such as Carracho/Wired/KDX.
Macintosh
- GLoarbLine - Directly index of available downloads located at http://lorbac.net. This doesn't appear to be in active development.
- Underline - Project homepage located at http://www.hyperspasm.com/underline/ with download link. Unsure if this is still being actively developed.
- Heidrun - Client for Mac OS X. A few details can be found at https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/11881/heidrun# as the original project homepage appears to be gone.
Windows
- Pitbull Pro - Project homepage located at http://ubersoft.org/pitbullpro with screenshots and download link. Unsure if this is still being actively developed.
- GLoarbLine - Directly index of available downloads located at http://lorbac.net. This doesn't appear to be in active development.
- Underline - Project homepage located at http://www.hyperspasm.com/underline/ with download link. Unsure if this is still being actively developed.
Linux/*nix
- synhxd (shxd) - This does still receive updates from author Devin Teske. Project homepage is located at http://synhxd.sourceforge.net with latest versions of the client/server/tracker available for download. Older versions can also be obtained from https://preterhuman.net/gethotlinekdx.php
- mhxd - Original project website located at http://hotlinex.sourceforge.net though updates stop in 2004. The download link for the latest release no longer works, but a copy can be obtained from our archive at https://preterhuman.net/gethotlinekdx.php
- Fidelio - This is a graphical client, though it doesn't appear to have any updates since 2002. Original project homepage is located at http://fidelio.sourceforge.net and offers downloads.
- GtkHx - This is a graphical client, though it doesn't appear to have any updates since 2003. Original project homepage is located at http://gtkhx.sourceforge.net and offers downloads.
