Technical Details

The IBM PC-330 and 350 series were often nicknamed the "Select-A-Bus" series because the LPX riser card installed in the system could be either PCI or VESA Local Bus based based on the card installed and a pair of jumpers next to it. It had a 5 chip L2 Cache that could allow for up to 1MB of L2 Cache, and the socket 3 CPU socket could handle 5V and 3.3V CPUs. It was primarily sold as a mid-tier enterprise class machine. It's consumer equivalent would be the early IBM NetVista machines which often used the same components.

Externally, the machines in this series were defined by it's sliding cover that would hide the floppy/cd-rom drives, an IBM Logo that could be turned to put the PC into a "Tower" orientation, and the heavily ridged front bezel. In back there's a white plastic beauty cover that covers the rear of the chassis as well. Typically it shipped with an IBM G-40 monitor, PS/2 mouse, and Model "M" Keyboard.
