Macintosh Quadra 950

The Macintosh Quadra 950 is a Motorola 68040 and NuBus based tower. This model was released in March 1992 and discontinued in October 1995.

General Information

CPU

The 950 uses a full Motorola 68040 processor clocked at 33MHz. The Macintosh Quadra 840av is faster but the 950 was popular for server use.

Notes

  • The Quadra 950 is an ideal server tower for Apple UNIX (A/UX) due to the expansion options.
