The Macintosh Quadra 950 is a Motorola 68040 and NuBus based tower. This model was released in March 1992 and discontinued in October 1995. This model replaces the Macintosh Quadra 900, and was the last model to feature 6 expansion slots until the Power Macintosh 9500.

General Information

CPU

The 950 uses a full Motorola 68040 processor clocked at 33MHz. The Macintosh Quadra 840av is faster but the 950 was popular for server use.

Notes

  • The Quadra 950 is an ideal server tower for Apple UNIX (A/UX) due to the expansion options.
