Solid Impact graphics are the lowest tier of SGI's [[IMPACT]] graphics offered both on the Indigo2 and Octane workstations. They include a 13.5MB frame buffer and have 1 raster engine (i.e. are "1RSS" boards). Octane boards support the addition of texture RAM (TRAM) which allows hardware-accelerated 3D texturing.
